Welcome to the 3rd edition of Community Cafe! We know you’ve missed us 😊
Alexis Ohanian, Co-founder of Reddit tweeted about Minimum Viable Community a week ago 👇
This led to a lot of retweets on Twitter, and Alexis shared an insightful podcast episode by Community x Capital on how to find your Minimum Viable Community
At Casa, we’ve also written at length about how to build your Minimum Viable Community. Hint: the first step is to build an audience 😊
Okay, so now that you know how to build a Minimum Viable Community, what do you do next 🤔
Here are some ideas:
Adopt a “give first” mentality as follows:
Share knowledge that your community can benefit from
Help members succeed in their career and personal lives - share job opportunities, etc.
Highlight and celebrate their achievements 🎉
Learn about their problems and get feedback on how you can improve their experience
Reward top members and contributors
Create events and bring the experience to the offline world
Ask the community for ideas
And finally…get feedback for your product / service
Okay, so next up - on a scale of 1 to Duh, how excited are you for the holidays?
